Why did I choose my major?
I'm in my fourth year of journalism.
Studying journalism wasn't my first option. I did a complete year of literature at the University of Santiago de Chile in 2018. In 2019, I changed my mind and got into journalism at this university. Was life changing; until now, I’ve been having an amazingly fruitful experience, with a lot of ups and downs.
When I was a little kid, I wanted to be a writer, also a pop star (I was such a Disney girl…), a teacher, a tarotist, and a lot of other things I thought I was good at.
And to go on with my dream-job, I decided journalism could be such a rich experience to develop the greatest skills. My boyfriend's dad said once: “Studying a career should give you the skills to become whatever you want to become”.

Hi Fran. In my opinion, it is very difficult to choose who you want to be...only the life can say, with the as time goes by, if you choose the best way...or, maybe, whichever way you choose, it will be the way you were destined to follow, for some special reason of destiny.

ResponderEliminarYour boyfriend's dad is very right, but knowing what to study is very complicated :(
ResponderEliminarIt is very brave to dare to change careers, it is very difficult to decide what you want to do for the rest of your life.
